There is no higher priority to us than the safety of our customers and employees. We therefore wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update on the precautions we are taking in connection with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We are following cleaning and disinfecting protocols based on the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, New York State Department of Health, and Los Angeles County Health Department, Canada Health Department, World Health Organization. While Essence de Beauté commonly practices routine and thorough cleaning throughout our facilities, we have introduced more frequent cleaning standards to disinfect all bathrooms, common areas, and frequently utilized surfaces. We are installing hand sanitizing stations within our stores and common areas and have increased quantities of soap at each hand washing location. Separately, our staff is taking additional measures to routinely disinfect all products, registers, and countertops.
In accordance with guidelines provided by the CDC we encourage all customers and staff to follow these best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol based sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing – do not use your hands.
- Utilize the disinfectant wipes and stations available throughout the stores to sanitize your hands.
